Naked Body of Dreams

At the Appointed Hour

The wanderer has reached a meeting place
and there he sees the lost that time has found,
the accidental greeting of a face
that smiles with subtle knowing, like a sound.
His one beloved, then and there, arrives
to carry out what destiny ordains
by reuniting parts expressed as lives
that once felt all of separation's pains.
This random world conspires all our fate,
the ev'ry growing moment of our days
until our purpose can no longer wait
and so, at last, the fire is ablaze.
Now you and I shall walk a common road
to share the celebration and the load.
